Built by a small Melbourne team

Eleven people above a laneway café on Little Collins Street. Here are a few of the players who ship every patch.

"We playtest on real trams and real 4G. If it does not feel great on a commute, it does not ship."
Priya N.Game Director
"Our rollback netcode keeps Sydney-to-Perth matches under 45ms of perceived delay. That is the whole ballgame for PvP."
Declan R.Lead Netcode Engineer
"Every hero silhouette has to read at thumbnail size. Mobile is a game of glances, not stares."
Mei-Ling T.Art & Animation
"I read every review in the AU store. Half our balance changes started as a one-star rant we agreed with."

Questions, answered

Yes. The full game, every map and all heroes are free. We monetise through optional cosmetic season passes and clan tiers, never through pay-to-win stat boosts. You can reach the top rank without spending a cent.

Any Android 9 device released after 2019 with 3GB of RAM, and any iPhone or iPad on iOS 15 or newer. We ship a lightweight 320MB build and a high-fidelity 780MB build so older handsets still run at a smooth 60fps.

Absolutely. Cross-play is on by default and matchmaking never separates the two platforms. Your account, cosmetics and rank follow you if you switch devices, linked through a free VirtuBattleRealm ID.

A typical 6-minute match uses roughly 8–12MB, so a full evening of play sits comfortably under 200MB. There is also a Data Saver mode that trims background downloads for capped mobile plans.

Our whole team is based in Melbourne, so player support runs on AEST business hours, Monday to Friday, 9am to 6pm. You can reach us by phone or email and expect a reply within one business day.

Yes. Guardians can set spending caps, disable open voice chat and limit daily play time from the linked account dashboard. The game carries a PEGI 12 / USK equivalent rating for mild fantasy combat.
